I have seen God.

This is a very important post I am sharing here with all the spirituality enthusiasts and anyone who is or was ever curious to know if anyone has seen God. Without sharing this with you all I might not be able to rest .

My experience: During those days I was completely looking for opportunities to help others ,by others I mean any living being,dogs,cats humans , birds,horses or any other for that matter.

I used to be working with a private firm as a team lead , a telecom engineer . A divine presence or feeling surrounded me all the time that sort of kept me convinced that service to living beings without any differentiation could possibly lead me to God Almighty.So,I continued doing my job.The opportunities to help others were many and I thanked God all the time for that .I believed it is God who will subsequently be giving us the opportunity to help others and in turn get closer to him .Days passed and I kep doing that.Without a second thought, I was spontaneous enough to help .

To keep away from all sorts of negative thoughts and vibrations I used to keep chanting Buddhist mantras, listening to Krishna and Sai bhajans and reading all sorts of spiritual articles and books I came across irrespective of whether they belonged to the religion I followed or not . I always had a strong faith in the goodness of all religions. That goodness I always believed is what God is.I shunned all the orthodox views in all religions , I had a bad feeling about. Seemed some one was guiding me all the way .

Then Suddenly, one evening while I was sitting in my room taking rest ,a thought struck my mind that everything is one and it's aura started spreading in all directions in my mind,everything moved infront of my eyes in such manner that I felt I was a part that supreme presence , everything including the objects here and there were all a part of the entire aura. Nothing existed outside it.The message was very clear that God existed and we all are nothing but a part of him or if put in other words the God constitutes of all of us. More clearly explained we as an aura are a part of God's. No one is different from that. Be assured that you are none but the same energy as God. 

Following that fortunate evening everything in my life changed .All restlessness put to a halt, there was a feeling of bliss everywhere, to define bliss I would say eternal peace everywhere and in everything. Transcendental would be the right word to use ,anything that came to me good or bad had no effect on my thoughts I was totally submerged in the divinity of what had engulfed me.It was DIVINE in the true sense .I did not seems to worry about eating or drinking anything.

All sorts of worries had now ceased completely.

This was my experience, now the question might arise how did I come to know that this was enlightenment. 

After about a week of being surrounded by such bliss, it started fading I wanted to remain in that state for ever but it looked out of my reach. I had no Guru and living Guide who I could discuss this state with. But I was convinced God was with me and that now I know the truth ...things will eventually form a path on their own for me. Then one day , I came across the lectures of Swami Vivekananda whose posters I had seen since the very childhood . I read the enlightenment experience of Swamiji and found that it was quite close to the one I had. I was startled and thought this must be shared with people in general so that they know the importance of being compassionate and humble towards all beings. It is ignorance which is misleading us into sufferings and sorrow .Once you have realised that everything and being you are surrounded with is a part of God including yourself there is nothing to fear ,you know you are the creator and you can create joys and sorrows at your own will you have all the power . When you are one with God you become all aware, the all powerful . There's only one caution ,keep excessive thinking and judgemental attitude at bay. 

To do so , you may follow self control techniques and  reminding yourself of the ultimate knowledge you have .Without the attitude to inquire and gain knowledge come what may you could never ever achieve what you are here for ,to achieve the highest goal of this human life. Being a human makes us different from the animals in the way that they lack the intelligence to inquire, to make a quest . Therefore, it is desirable for us, to keep searching for the facts that lead us to the ultimate truth. Do not obstruct your mind with the thoughts specific to a particular religion ,caste or creed .Dare to go beyond and look for the real nature of Self .
